Patient's Claim Financing at Kariadi Hospital Semarang during the Covid-19 Pandemic

Findings on health status and condition of patients who came to Kariadi Hospital were classified into two categories comorbid and co-incident. For patient claims to be funded, an assembling process and case-mix coding are carried out for the submission process based on the results of checking the status and health conditions of comorbid and co-incident patients. This study is to know the process of financing the patient's claim at Kariadi Hospital Semarang during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted in a phenomenological descriptive qualitative manner with the data sources coming from primary informants. Sampling technique with the selection according to the criteria then conducted an interview. Content analysis was used to analyze the data. For Covid-19 patients with comorbidities, previously a claim was made for Covid-19 cases, and if the Covid-19 case was completed but the comorbidi-ties persisted, the guarantor switched from the Ministry of Health to BPJS Health. The effect of community income on purchasing power in the condition of the economic crisis

The economic crisis changed a community lifestyle, which previously lived normal now must feel shortcomings. This is caused by a pandemic that hit the world, which Indonesia was declared economic recession in 2020. The economic recession occurred due to 2 main factors, namely community income and purchasing power. Many facts show that purchasing power has declined in 2020 such as restaurants to automotive dealers. This is due to the decline in community income due to the condition of the Covid-19 pandemic. Using samples from 34 respondents, we as researchers test whether the two theories are very relevant in creating the current economic crisis. By conducting a case study by proposing a questionnaire on 34 respondents, evidence shows that revenue is very influential purchasing power to both things affect Indonesia's economic conditions. © 2021 ACM.
